華盛頓簽下提前續(xù)約合同后進入6個月的交易凍結(jié)期，由于在新賽季交易截止日前無法解凍，華盛頓新賽季將無法被交易。

華盛頓是在2024年的交易截止日加盟獨行俠的，并且在當賽季幫助球隊打入了總決賽。華盛頓原合同還剩最后一年，價值1415萬美元。

上賽季，華盛頓為獨行俠出戰(zhàn)57場常規(guī)賽，場均14.7分7.8板2.3助1.1搶斷，投籃命中率45.3%，三分命中率38.1%，罰球命中率72.2%。
