布倫森1996年8月31日出生于美國新澤西州新不倫瑞克，大學(xué)時期布倫森效力于維拉諾瓦大學(xué)，期間兩奪NCAA總冠軍。2018年NBA選秀，布倫森在次輪總第33順位被獨行俠隊選中，正式進(jìn)入NBA。2022年7月，布倫森加盟尼克斯隊。2024年7月，布倫森以4年1.565億美元的合同降薪提前續(xù)約尼克斯。2024-25賽季，布倫森率領(lǐng)尼克斯殺入東部決賽。

國家隊方面，2015年，布倫森代表美國男籃出戰(zhàn)2015年國際籃聯(lián)U19世界杯。他共出戰(zhàn)7場比賽，場均貢獻(xiàn)14.0分、3.3籃板和5.6助攻，幫助美國隊獲得該屆賽事冠軍，他自己也榮膺該屆賽事MVP。2023年7月，布倫森入選美國男籃出征2023年男籃世界杯的12人大名單。
